NEWSLETTER NO: 36
DATE: January 25, 2026
Here is your periodic email from your NVTCM again.

Dear {name},

Tuesday, January 20, was the meeting regarding inheritance matters as well as the so-called living will. As became clear from Mr. Joe Lynch's story, both are certainly of importance here in Thailand.

It also became apparent that good information is a plus. So many different stories circulate that advice from a notary in the Netherlands, combined with a good lawyer here in Thailand, is important.

For this reason, and because the sound was not good, we are holding a repeat on February 17th. The meeting starts at 7:00 PM, but you are of course welcome to join us earlier at The European Chiang Mai. For members, this meeting is naturally part of their membership. Non-members contribute 300 baht. Please pay Jord upon arrival.

The New Year's drinks on January 27 were well-attended again, and the oliebollen and apple fritters were delicious. Worth repeating. We have therefore scheduled the next drinks for February 27 at restaurant Green Fox.

This is a German restaurant that serves excellent German dishes. The appetizers during this drinks reception are therefore provided by Green Fox so that you can get acquainted with traditional German cuisine. Naturally, Thai dishes are also on the menu at this restaurant. https://share.google/norWjZCFchw9ILlX9

So put it in your calendar. February 27th, the Friday afternoon drinks. Doors open from around 5:30.

And the next event is already planned. We are going cycling, and it’s at Joost Roxs’s.

And finally

The golf group is growing steadily. Especially during the season, we regularly play a round with two flights on various golf courses.

Additionally, 5 players have signed up to participate in the Orange Triangle. This is a tournament series combined with Tulip House Yomtien, The Hangover in Bangkok, and Say Cheese in Hua Hin. Three weekends of plenty of golfing fun combined with the camaraderie of golf.

Cars are heading to Bangkok on March 13 to participate in this. Do you play golf? If you're up for a fun weekend of golf in the bustling city of Bangkok, sign up with Bertil. There are still seats available in the cars to join this enjoyable weekend. Please sign up soon due to room reservations.

That’s all for now, and hope to see you on, for example, February 27th for drinks, March 28th at Buzzy Bee bike, or perhaps even in Bangkok.
