Update and Last Chance King's Day 2025

Dear {name},

As a new NVTCM, the day's schedule, as mentioned in the previous email, was perhaps a bit too ambitious and too enthusiastic.

Given the registrations for the children's flea market, we have taken the liberty of cancelling this event. The interest was not great enough to make it a resounding success.

We will of course certainly put this back on the agenda in the coming years, but we think that this was still a bit too ambitious for our association.

That is why we have changed the schedule slightly.

From 3:00 PM onwards, every member (family) is welcome at The European Chiang Mai.

The televisions are rolling so people can experience King's Day in the Netherlands. Our King is visiting Doetinchem this year. Naturally, there is Oranjebitter, and everything is decorated in orange to make this King's Day a colorful day. After all, we are Dutch, and this must be celebrated.

Naturally, there is an orange drink for the children, and the bitterballen are offered by the NVTCM in collaboration with the host company. Come one, come all, and let's make it a wonderful King's Day.

Further Plans

We, as the initiators of this NVT in Chiang Mai, have a number of informative and fun things planned for the coming months. Think, for example, of a coffee morning with a cultural and/or educational touch.

Additionally, one of the organizers is preparing a lecture on inheritance law. This includes testamentary matters, for example, but the so-called living will is also discussed. In our view, these are important matters from which you, as a member of the NVTCM, can benefit.

We are also organizing a meeting where you, as a member, can gain insight into insurance-related matters. Think, for instance, of your health insurance and the associated issues. But also simple risks, such as your purchased apartment. Is it insured through your Owners' Association (VVE), or do you need to arrange this yourself? Or is a combination advisable? These will also be discussed.

As an association, we also want to organize a car puzzle rally this year through the beautiful nature surrounding our city of Chiang Mai. The dates for these gatherings have yet to be determined, but you will of course be informed as soon as possible.

As you can see, we are hard at work setting up a lively and informative association here in Chiang Mai. Hence the request: if you have any ideas, please share them. Reply to this email or speak to Pim, Jord, or Bertil during drinks, for example on King's Day.

Let us know your ideas so that we can grow together as NVTCM and make this association a success.

It remains for us to wish you a wonderful week and we look forward to seeing you on April 26th, King's Day, to raise a glass together to our King!
