What a beautiful day, September 13, 2025.

After being welcomed with an excellent cup of coffee and a delicious pastry, the participants started the puzzle rally laid out by Pim, Bertil, and Djefrey. In total, 24 participants in 7 cars took part in the first puzzle rally in Chiang Mai (the rose of the north).

Halfway through, all cars arrived at "Di Bosco" to answer a few questions and enjoy lunch (and fortunately, not a single car got lost; the route was clear). This was followed by an explanation of part 2 of the puzzle rally, the well-known (and very difficult) photo round. Around 1:00 PM, most cars set off again to continue the puzzle rally.

Around 4:00 PM, every car rolled back into "The European Chiang Mai," where the route was discussed by the participants over cold drinks and snacks—naturally, accompanied by healthy criticism, admiration, and plenty of laughter. This was followed by the award ceremony for the winners:

1) Mark, Wim, Mathieu and Noi, Yes, Jomtien had the experience with puzzle rallies
2) Jord, Dries and Jan. A combination of residents from Chiang Mai and Jomtien
3) Diana Cor and Chakra. A combination of residents of Jomtien/the Netherlands and Fang

After the buffet and beer tap were opened, it turned into a very enjoyable evening that lasted until the late hours. See the posted photos.

Judging by the positive feedback, everyone had a wonderful day, and it was indicated that those members who were unable to attend missed out on something special. We, as the organizers of your NVT Chiang Mai, put this day together for you with great pleasure and thank all participants, and especially the sponsors, for this beautiful day. We would like to take a moment to acknowledge the sponsors, as they ensured that the members of the NVT had a fantastic day: The Elephant Parade (https://www.elephantparade.com) from Chiang Mai and Chabaprai Spa (https://chabapraimassageandspa.com), who provided the prizes, among other things; The Score Restaurant and Sportsbar (https://scorechiangmai.com/contact/) and The European Chiang Mai (https://theeuropeanchiangmai.com) for the amazing location, drinks, and food.

The date for the next edition of the Chiang Mai puzzle rally will be announced in mid-2026. We hope to have even more participants then who want to share this amazing day with us.
