Klaverjassen on June 7, 2026
And sure enough, the second Chiang Mai klaverjas tournament was once again a success. On Sunday, June 7, at exactly 2:00 PM, there were twelve participants who, with an emphasis on sociability, competed for the first prize.
The first prize was provided by Jeanet Woelinga of The Elephant Parade here in Chiang Mai. And it was ultimately won by Ferdinand Hoekstra through excellent card play.
The European Chiang Mai took home the second and third prizes. The Groningen dry sausage made by this restaurant ultimately went to Ed van Vive. The third prize, a half-liter of freshly tapped Dutch beer, ultimately went to Mark van der Geest.
On behalf of your Dutch association Chiang Mai, thanks to the participants and thanks to the sponsors who made the prizes available.
